As the race for Delta State Government house is on some hidden facts are been exposed, one of such is the true identity of Senator Ovie Omo Agege.
In the spirit of fairness, justice and equity, it should be the turn of Urobo of Delta Central to produce the next governor of Delta State. And among the frontline contenders is Senator Ovie Omo Agege who claimed to have come from Delta Central.
But fact check by an investigate journalist has exposed that he is not a true Urobo man of Delta Central.
It has been confirmed that he Omo Agege’s mother is Itsekiri from Koko in Warri North. She hails from Nana Olomu linage, she is a sister to Mrs Ayomike the wife of Pa. Ayomike (former Itsekiri leaders of thought chairman).
He (Ovie Omo Agege) lost his mum at a very young age and she was buried in Koko.
Having just served as a Senator and not being an Urobo man whose turn it’s to govern the affairs of Delta State, why then did he Ovie Omo Agege decided to contest as for the position of Delta State governor at this time?
Does it mean that the brotherly spirit of fairness justice and equity is no longer attainable in the political system in Delta State?
Or is a section of Delta State the “born-to-rule” while another zone remains perpetual servant?
The pertinent questions are for the electorates in Delta State to answer through their ballot on the day of the gubernatorial election.
