Rivers Group Asks Wike To Account For Giveaways To PDP-G5, Others

A pro-Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on the platform of Rivers State Democracy Sustainable Group (RSDSG) has challenged the Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike, to give account of all his recent giveaways to his allies allegedly causing disunity in the main opposition party and other donations.

The group wondered if those giveaways of Rivers State resources were presented to the Rivers State House of Assembly and approved by the lawmakers as party of budgetary allocation.

In a statement signed on Monday in Abuja by its Convener, Justin Chibuike, the group said from 2015 till date Gov. Nyesom Wike has received trillions of Naira from internally Generated Revenue, federal allocations, local and foreign interventions and sales of Rivers State government properties including the gas turbine Rotimi Amaechi acquired from Holland and Saipem; but has not spent one third of these Rivers owned resources.

The group, however, threatened to that “If the Governor does not speak to Rivers people and hand over their properties back to the state, all these documents will be revealed including sales agreements of these properties both locally and internationally.”

According to the statement, one may ponder on the ridiculous excesses of the governor in recent times against the party that has given him everything except being the presidential candidate of the party.

“The party in it’s wisdom settled for the former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar for their best interest but the Governor has gone rogue against the party and the presidential candidate.

“We have realised that the courage to fight an unknown battle has been fully funded by the purse of Rivers State. The Governor in his bid to service the loyalty of the characters masquerading as fighters for justice in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has resulted to throwing Rivers resources into the bellies of the fishes acting as militants in the PDP.

“Further more, the Governor of the state should explain to Rivers people if the monies that he doles out frequently to forces outside Rivers State are duly captured and approved by the Rivers State House of Assembly in the yearly budgets of the state.

“This is of importance because Rivers people have seen how the Governor went to Lagos State to endorse the APC Governor of the state against his party’s candidate and in so doing donated the sum of N300m to the National women conference organised by the Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials(COWLSO) at the Eko Hotels and Suites.

“Also, we’ve seen in disgust how he attended the birthday party of his ally in Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu and donated the sum of N200m for no just cause. We’ve also seen recently the donation of 25 buses each to both Cross River and Benue states PDP.

“Rivers people are tired and can’t continue in this charade of the governor in his utter wastage that has continually underdeveloped the state in times as such where there is serious unemployment and no human capital development or Empowerment to enable the youths create meaningful opportunities for themselves to grow the declining state GDP and of course the rising inflation in our dear state.

“We’ve also seen how about seven international trips of these Governors of his are sponsored by the governor at the expense of our state purse to hold secret meetings with political candidates in luxurious hotels for weeks in Europe that adds zero economic benefit to the state.

“It is quite unfortunate that a man who seeks accountability in his party is involved in actions that negates the core values of a just course. The Governor swore an oath to be accountable to Rivers people and we are of this notice asking him to give accounts of his ridiculous spendings of state resources.

“We have uncovered properties owned by the state especially the civil service quarters that is given to his friends and allies who are not Rivers people all to entice their support for his failed presidential bid. We ask, what have the civil servants done to Wike that for seven and half years they’ve not experienced promotion of any sort and that the state secretariate is kept in an unhabitable condition.

“The Governor in one of his many giveaways went to his kinsmen in Ogbumnuabali and doled out a mouth watery sum of N2b for doing nothing absolutely nothing. Such a fund would have been directed to fixing the unhabitable condition of our state secretariate because the civil servants in the state have seen nothing but neglect in Wike’s seven reckless years of mismanagement of state funds.”

While demanding for justice on behalf of the Rivers people, the statement said: “As a group we are asking the state governor who is demanding for justice in the party to first serve justice to Rivers people because charity begins at home. He must explain to us for posterity sake. Good men can no longer remain silent in times like this.

“Rivers people and Nigerians daily have seen that the self centred gimmicks of Wike are only to grant easy access to a Bola Tinubu presidency. In his attempt to demean Atiku Abubakar, Atiku has continued to enjoy public support based on the unjustifiable excesses of Nyesom Wike. Public opinions in the various states of those following the Rivers Governor and beyond shows that Atiku Abubakar is leading every other candidate as General elections gets closer. His wide acceptance has been censored and his presidency is now a reality.

“We therefore, urge the Governor, Chief Barr. Nyesom Ezenwo Wike to immediately account for all Rivers State assets he has appropriated to himself and his cronies; if he dares not, we will one by each release the places and locations of properties he has forcefully annexed to himself and co-conspirators. Also, we will release documents of monies he has hidden through proxies for himself. The Governor must declare those properties to Rivers people for the purpose of transparency and accountability, else he runs the risk of facing a national disgrace.”

Allegations: How KWIRS Executive Chairman, Mrs. Omoniyi maliciously replaces Courteville Business solutions with her husband Project Phoenix company

Some Concerned Pioneer Staff of Kwara State Internal Revenue Service (KWIRS) have revealed a bombshell corruption allegations lavishing in the service by the Executive Chairman, Mrs. Shade Omoniyi

The concerned staff stressed alleged that the Mrs. Omoniyi had illegally replaced the Former Consultant on road taxes collection for Kwara State Government with her husband’s company called Project Phoenix.

The staff who craved anonymity to avoid victimization said ” Aside the allegations on the N8 billions mismanagement funds , I wish to reveal another scam not yet in public that was perpetuated by Mrs. Shade Omoniyi and her husband.

The source stated by listing the contributions of Courteville Business solutions plc (AutoReg) former consultant on Road Tax to the Kwara state government towards revenue generation for the economic growth.

The reliable source said “this company was forced out and replaced by Project Phoenix consultants (the chairman’s husband’s platform)

“Courteville Business Solution plc is the foremost Nigerian e-business solutions company, which is listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange with shareholder’s funds in excess of $20million. Their principal focus is the development of e-business solutions for process re-engineering and efficiency improvement in all sectors of the economy and they are supported by an impressive Board of Directors, and highly technical domestic and international alliances.

“They have a medium term vision to ‘’to be a globally accepted business solutions company supplying unique services with locally developed innovations’’.

According to the source “as a business solutions development company, they invented and patented a number of technologies and products that they currently use in providing unique and customised services to various organisations. Companies and government agencies, the most prominent being ‘’AutoReg’’ for automation of Motor Vehicle Administration Documentation (MVAD).
They are currently operational in 22 states of the federation which includes Kwara state since 2018. In their 4 years of operations in Kwara state, they have contributed to the bottom line as per revenue generated from road taxes; stated below are highlights of their positive contribution backed with figures.
Through AutoReg, there has been increased and fully collated, accruable revenue due to Kwara State from vehicle licensing administration.”

“Through the seamless user experience of their platform, they have been able increase the efficiency quota in processing of vehicle renewal, registration and elimination of inherent difficulties. These difficulties had contributed to the discouragement of vehicle owners. Also the expansion of their operating tentacles to every local government in the state has ensured that every possible revenue source as it relates to road taxes are covered effectively.”

“They had also facilitated the process of creating, expanding and maintaining a robust database for the state; capturing the vehicle make and model, category details, they also have a detailed data of customer’s name and addresses.Their well-structured system has also ensured that integration is implemented with other states has taxpayers do not have to go and renew vehicle documents in the registered State.

The source noted that their platform enhance crime control by making recovering of stolen vehicle easier. More than 10 stolen vehicles was recovered in Kwara State during the period under review because the platform prevents double registration of a vehicle. Stolen vehicles are reported and flagged to avoid re-registration.
The old Courteville Business Solution plc used an agile system of iteration to ensure that the system complemented the efforts of the state in the efficient and effective enforcement of motor vehicle documentation administration laws, traffic monitoring and control.

“Despite the Roadworthiness service line being withdrawn from a very competent company and awarded to an incompetent Consultant, Project phoenix, (The company of the husband of Mrs. Shade Omoniyi), during the period in review, this action did not deter the efforts of Courteville Business Solution plc, to grow the revenue base in the state.

” I will outline the disadvantages of project Phoenix (the company owned by Mrs. Shade Omoniyi’s husband) to the Kwara state government and citizens.
Project Phoenix is a stand alone platform that is only used in kwara state, the platform commenced operation on 1st of August 2022 after the disengagement of the former service provider (AutoReg).

The disadvantage according to the staff are Generation of low revenue due to lack of data and the platform instability, the revenue to be generated in the state would be taken to neighboring states.

” It gives room for fake licenses, vehicle registration and renewal, Stolen vehicles can not be tracked or traced as crime from neighboring/ bordering states are sent to kwara because no data to confirm such informations.

“Pilfering and theft by processors/operators: the operating processes (change of ownership, direct levy, revalidation) has not been fully automated on the platform. Operators can decide to treat any of the listed processes as an existing service as their are no data to confirm the validity of vehicle informations.

” There is a lot of discomfort and confusion for travelers; police tends to disturb taxpayers with renewed vehicle documents from kwara state because it looks fake in appearance, AutoReg has an application that confirms the validity of all vehicles licences. Taxpayers are always embarrassed as they do not know how to convince the police and law enforcement agencies on the genuineness of their vehicle papers.

The source appealed to Kwara state Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq to probes the operation of the KWIRS as it is clear that Mrs. Omoniyi is taking Kwara state to the cleaners and stealing as much she can with every available opportunity.

“We the staff of KWIRS are all compelled to live under the continuous threat of sack by the wicked and shameless leadership led by Shade Omoniyi.”

Group under aegis of Buhari Votes Guard and Awareness (BVGA)has vowed to mobilise support across the 19 northern states to deliver nothing less sixteen million votes for the former Governor of Lagos State and Presidential flagbearer , Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu during the forthcoming 2023 general election .

According to him , the Northerners are people with high consciousness and respect for equity; justice and fairness ,thus the resolved to back a southern candidate in APC for the presidency.

The Coordinator of Buhari Votes Guard and Awareness ,Dr. Kailani Muhammad who disclosed this while briefing journalists in Kaduna on Sunday said It grossly unfair to vote another northerner as president after the tenure of President Muhammadu Buhari expires.

He further said ” The issue of rotation is common knowledge,it was started by PDP for power to rotate between north and south . Now that it is the turn of the South ,they are bringing Atiku to come and contest ,it is not possible .

“We have meet and agreed to shift power to the South and South-West in particular and by the grace of God, Tinubu is Nigeria’s next President .

“He has the capacity to deliver and turn around the economy on the lane of sustainable progress and development .

We saw how he turned around the economy of Lagos during his days as Governor,to the extent that Lagos economy is now 740 percent, which is more than the entire economy of West Africa .

“Aside physical infrastructural development ,he developed the human capital to the extent that they were not only effective and efficient and rewarded performance .He made many people ,from politicians to business men millionaire and multi-millionaires today

“We believe he’s going to turn around Nigeria and that is why we have resolved to support him and by the grace of God Asiwaju Tinubu will win the election and emerge as the next President of Nigeria.

On how he would mobilise the 16 Million Votes ,Dr Kailani explained,”I have the experience as a grassroots politician ,who have contested for Governorship in Kaduna State and we have revived our structures to do the magic .

“We did grassroots mobilisation for my late mentor ,Alhaji Aliyu Rufai ,Who died a year ago , he was the elder brother to current Kaduna State Governor.He contested for Governorship while I was the Campaign Director.We have revived this movement in Kaduna State.

“We have captured 80 percent of the voters in Kaduna State,which we are delivering for Tinubu.

“You saw the massive crowd that attended the Quaranic graduation ceremony at my residence ,but we are going to converge a general meeting in the next one or two weeks

“Whether we like it or not by the grace of God Asiwaju Tinubu is the next President of Nigeria.”

Speaking on reasons Nigerians should not vote Atiku, according to him ,he has no basis to contest for election in this country .”We have been reiterating it he sold over 80 percent companies to his friends and cronies.

“He granted interview recently, where he reemphasize that he would sell NNPC and other national assets.We would not allow such person to come and govern Nigeria.”

Reacting to question on the Labour Party Presidential Flagbearer ,Mr Peter Obi growing support base , Dr. Kailani said, ” We want peace in this country ,we shall not allow any Igbo man, yes the Igbos are our brothers and sisters ,but we would not allow them to come on board in 2023, because Obi cannot speak to IPOB.

“IPOB are looking for Biafra ,they are fighting and killing innocent people ,they have even made a law in Southeast now, sit-at-home , their economy has been damaged .

“They kill our people everyday and they want Biafra ,so, nobody wants war ,we want peace and tranquility to reign in Nigeria and that is why we want Tinubu who has done it before and will do it again .

Mr.LA Vs Sardaunan Badarawa; Matters Arising

Tension is mounting within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaduna as uncertainty sets in.

Last week, a high court sitting in Kaduna on pre-election matters nullified the Peoples Democratic Party’s primary election for Kaduna Central Senatorial District.

The primary produced Mr. Lawal Adamu Usman popularly known as Mr. LA as the candidate for the PDP in the forthcoming 2023 general election.

Immediately after the PDP senatorial primary, Usman Ibrahim also called Sardaunan Badarawa who was the runner up, and one other member of the PDP who disagreed with the result of the primary and petitioned the PDP at the national level.

Surprisingly, the party at the national level set up a rerun committee following the petition by Sardauna Bardarawa immediately after the initial primary election, automatically invalidating the primary in Kaduna.

Chieftains of the party at both the national and state levels, instead of taking advantage of internal mechanism and settling the issue amicably, allowed it to fester leading to the present court case. Analysts are of the opinion that the PDP is once again boxing itself into a tight corner.

According to Ahmadu Usman Yusuf, a political analyst, the nullification of the Kaduna Central Senatorial Zone primary would cause a setback for PDP.

Yusuf further enunciated how Mr LA endeared himself to the masses in Kaduna.

“Before the coming of Lawal Adamu Usman into the PDP, the Sardaunan Badarawa and many other decamped from the party and joined the All Progressives Congress (APC). However, Mr.LA took the burden of sustaining the PDP.

“In 2019, Lawal Adamu Usman rejuvenated the PDP from an ailing party into a winning party as it actually won the Kaduna Central Zone, but was cheated out of victory due to the power of incumbency.

“Despite losing out at the court, Mr .LA did not abandon the PDP and the people of the state, he doled out a whooping N100,000,000 to the three senatorial districts in the state. These cash was meant to help the poorest of the poor in the society.

“Mr. LA further endeared himself and the PDP to the people of the state when he set up a fund to cater for all indigent students in higher institutions, who could not afford the new tuition introduced by the APC-led administration.

” Many parents breathed a sigh of relief from the burden of paying school fees which was through Usman’s philanthropic gestures.
For these, Kaduna people are eternally grateful to him.
It would therefore, be disastrous for LA to be replaced now.

“For Mr. Ovyeh Ishaya, an indigene of Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna, it is only Lawal Adamu Usman that resonates within our community. When others left the party and were supporting the APC against the people, only Mr. LA stood for us. If he is removed now, we may have no option but to vote against the PDP,” he added.

Many political observers have argued along the lines of Ovyeh Ishaya that Mr LA stood for the party and the people of Kaduna South when the Sardaunan Badarawa was in APC. They argued that Sardaunan Badarawa shouldn’t have been allowed into the party and given waiver to contest the primary few months into the contest.

Alhaji Abdulrahman Baki went ahead to state that the entrance of Sardaunan Badarawa into the PDP was the grand plot of the ruling party at the state to cause confusion ahead of the 2023 general election.

He said, “The Sardaunan Bardarawa is a close confidant of Kaduna State Governor Nasir el-Rufai and he has been his right hand man. The moment he came back to the PDP, I knew that he was on a mission to destroy the internal cohesion of the party so as to prevent Mr. Lawal Adamu Usman from defeating the APC candidate.

He blamed the PDP officials at the state level for allowing Sardunan Badarawa into the PDP without proper checks.

“The moment Sardunan Badarawa was allowed into the party, I knew there would be trouble and I blamed the party officials for it.

For Johnson Usman, money and greed on the part of the party officials contributed to the mess.

“That’s what’s killing the PDP particularly in the state, new entrants with money can do away with people who have kept faith and stood for the party, even when it wasn’t fashionable to do so. All you need to do as a new entrant is to buy cars and share or just bankroll personal bills of those calling the shots in the party, that’s all.

He further added that, “Mr LA has paid his dues for the party, particularly in Kaduna Central District and I am sufficiently convinced he will prevail at the end.

Mr LA Vs Sardaunan Badarawa: Matters Arising

The ultimate aim of both contenders is to see that each emerges as the candidate of PDP for the Kaduna Central Senatorial Zone.

However, many observers believe that with the absence of Senators Shehu Sani and Uba Sani, Mr. LA would easily beat the APC candidate.

However, that cannot be said of Ibrahim, who has not contested an election, nor has been very active in the political space in Kaduna.

It is therefore, only pertinent to warn that the PDP in Kaduna maybe committing a political suicide if the Senatorial ticket of Kaduna Central is denied Mr. LA.

2023: The unguided words of Sen Abbo are chasing him to his political Golgotha-Digil

With a lamentable tune and regrettable utterances, Engr Abubakar Adamu Digil accused the Senator representing Adamawa North zone, Mr. Ishaku Elisha Abbo of allowing Youthful exuberance to beclouded his political line of thoughts and sense of reasoning.

Digil who said is from Mubi and in 2019 has supported Senator Ishaku Abbo in canvassing votes in the entire Mubi Emirate council is regretting his actions because the Senator has failed woefully in terms of quality representation.

According to him, Abbo has used his Mouth to destroy his political career, and his vindictive statements over contemporary issues of politics are now boomeranging as an enemy chasing him to political grave yard.

He said that his words are counting against him to the extent that his supporters are tired of putting up defenses that are not yielding to anything.

Digil recalled that the way and manner Senator Ishaku responded on the All Progressives Congress’ Muslim Muslim Presidential ticket, his penchant for hatred for Muslims is glaring and noticeable in the eyes of everyone.

He said Abbo uttered that “Buhari, Tinubu, APC Chairman and anyone that supported the Tinubu/Shetima ticket to sail through are all potential Boko Haram members ” this is a serious statement that is biting hard the heart of Muslim politicians and felt bad over the unwarranted statement.

Digil recalled how the Senator went to many outlets including national and international media describing the joint ticket as a slap and disrespectful to the Christian community.

He further recalled how Abbo asserted that the “decision is outrightly a blasphemy and a sacrilege to all Christians in Nigeria, especially those who are card-carrying members of the party.”

Digil accused the Adamawa Northern Senator to professed venom of hatred in any Church gathering he visited, calling on them not to support the Muslim Muslim ticket and anyone that does that is a “potential Boko Haram member” has gone beyond his limit of operation.

On the Muslim Muslim ticket also Abbo Stated his position on both his verified social media handles and said that his soul is not for sale, he cannot trade truth for votes, and he cannot be used to cover up injustice.

The condemnation of the Muslim Muslim Ticket by Senator Cliff, an APC stakeholder made Digital view that the aggressive lawmaker has declared open war on all party critical stakeholders.

Digil was perturbed to say that Senator Abbo’s views of all “APC members who do not rise against the Muslim Muslim join ticket are potential Boko Haram members” is a denigrating statement that should not be taken lightly.

He said: “The implication of Abbo’s statement is simply to mean that both President Muhammadu Buhari, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, the party’s national chairman, the party’s Presidential candidate, Senator Bola Tinubu, and the fifteen Governors of the party who supported this ticket are all potential Boko Haram members because they have endorsed the ticket and seen its legibility to win the election come 2023.

” This is where he is having an issue, this Man is busily de-marketing the party in our area, given the New Nigerian People’s Party’s undue popularity.

“The question is why is Senator Abbo doing this? It’s because he is fast losing relevance in the political circle of Adamawa state. This is the same person holding the party’s ticket and is busy captivating and attacking all prominent party men in the name of fighting for the Christian religion.

“I’m calling for a rescue mission to our party and the only way to do it is to sanction Abbo by sending him out of the party, even if it means voting against him. Because is dividing us more along religious and tribal lines that we don’t have before.

” You can take or leave, the Muslim gave him the chunk of votes that today is using and parading himself as a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria”

The Adamawa Northern stakeholder is worried that the anti-party activities of Senator Abbo are becoming more worrisome to the extent of affecting the political arithmetic of the zone and the chances of APC winning the election.

He revealed that the electorates in the area are already having the feeling of not having a candidate in APC and they rather go for any other party to make their voice count and vent their anger that will stop Abbo from winning the election.

“I want to authoritatively tell you that Mubi is the stronghold of APC but with what Abbo is doing a chunk of the votes will be deflected in favor of parties whose logos are hardly known in the state.

“APC will be virtually left with nothing because Cliff has discredited himself and is on the verge of killing the party if something urgent is not done.

” This is a zone control and owned by APC, a zone in search of a credible candid. Right from the onset, one of the reasons why Dr. Belel is out for the seat is because there is no anyone good thereby having the ticket by APC.

“The party, therefore, has to call Senator Abbo into order or seize his membership card of the party. If he is not going with the party’s collective agenda, and interest there is no way for the party leaders to allow anti-party to continue to thrive, it will do more harm than good.

” His behaviors are bad, going unchecked to the detriment of the party. The parents-party should withdraw his membership due to his unrepentant anti-party activities because the party is at liberty to do that.

“Abbo called Kashim a thief and a desperate politician who have stolen the mandate of the Christians, going to the extent of releasing old pictures with Catholic Bishops as proof of his endorsements of Christians to the mobilization of fake Bishops are unguided words that will consume him at the end of the political game in 2023,” Digil added

Digil continued to say that Abbo’s unwarranted outburst has nosedived and has snowballed him into an unfortunate politician that his enemies will be Chasing to Golgotha for political crucifixion.

Digil recalled that the way and manner Senator Ishaku responded on the All Progressives Congress’ Muslim Muslim Presidential ticket, his penchant for hatred for Muslims is glaring and noticeable in the eyes of everyone.

He said Abbo uttered that “Buhari, Tinubu, APC Chairman and anyone that supported the Tinubu/Shetima ticket to sail through are all potential Boko Haram members ” this is a serious statement that is biting hard the heart of Muslim politicians and felt bad over the unwarranted statement.

Digil recalled how the Senator went to many outlets including national and international media describing the joint ticket as a slap and disrespectful to the Christian community.

He further recalled how Abbo asserted that the “decision is outrightly a blasphemy and a sacrilege to all Christians in Nigeria, especially those who are card-carrying members of the party.”

Digil accused the Adamawa Northern Senator to professed venom of hatred in any Church gathering he visited, calling on them not to support the Muslim Muslim ticket and anyone that does that is a “potential Boko Haram member” has gone beyond his limit of operation.

On the Muslim Muslim ticket also Abbo Stated his position on both his verified social media handles and said that his soul is not for sale, he cannot trade truth for votes, and he cannot be used to cover up injustice.

The condemnation of the Muslim Muslim Ticket by Senator Cliff, an APC stakeholder made Digital view that the aggressive lawmaker has declared open war on all party critical stakeholders.

Digil was perturbed to say that Senator Abbo’s views of all “APC members who do not rise against the Muslim Muslim join ticket are potential Boko Haram members” is a denigrating statement that should not be taken lightly.

He said: “The implication of Abbo’s statement is simply to mean that both President Muhammadu Buhari, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, the party’s national chairman, the party’s Presidential candidate, Senator Bola Tinubu, and the fifteen Governors of the party who supported this ticket are all potential Boko Haram members because they have endorsed the ticket and seen its legibility to win the election come 2023.

” This is where he is having an issue, this Man is busily de-marketing the party in our area, given the New Nigerian People’s Party’s undue popularity.

“The question is why is Senator Abbo doing this? It’s because he is fast losing relevance in the political circle of Adamawa state. This is the same person holding the party’s ticket and is busy captivating and attacking all prominent party men in the name of fighting for the Christian religion.

“I’m calling for a rescue mission to our party and the only way to do it is to sanction Abbo by sending him out of the party, even if it means voting against him. Because is dividing us more along religious and tribal lines that we don’t have before.

” You can take or leave, the Muslim gave him the chunk of votes that today is using and parading himself as a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria”

The Adamawa Northern stakeholder is worried that the anti-party activities of Senator Abbo are becoming more worrisome to the extent of affecting the political arithmetic of the zone and the chances of APC winning the election.

He revealed that the electorates in the area are already having the feeling of not having a candidate in APC and they rather go for any other party to make their voice count and vent their anger that will stop Abbo from winning the election.

“I want to authoritatively tell you that Mubi is the stronghold of APC but with what Abbo is doing a chunk of the votes will be deflected in favor of parties whose logos are hardly known in the state.

“APC will be virtually left with nothing because Cliff has discredited himself and is on the verge of killing the party if something urgent is not done.

” This is a zone control and owned by APC, a zone in search of a credible candid. Right from the onset, one of the reasons why Dr. Belel is out for the seat is because there is no anyone good thereby having the ticket by APC.

“The party, therefore, has to call Senator Abbo into order or seize his membership card of the party. If he is not going with the party’s collective agenda, and interest there is no way for the party leaders to allow anti-party to continue to thrive, it will do more harm than good.

” His behaviors are bad, going unchecked to the detriment of the party. The parents-party should withdraw his membership due to his unrepentant anti-party activities because the party is at liberty to do that.

“Abbo called Kashim a thief and a desperate politician who have stolen the mandate of the Christians, going to the extent of releasing old pictures with Catholic Bishops as proof of his endorsements of Christians to the mobilization of fake Bishops are unguided words that will consume him at the end of the political game in 2023,” Digil added

Digil continued to say that Abbo’s unwarranted outburst has nosedived and has snowballed him into an unfortunate politician that his enemies will be Chasing to Golgotha for political crucifixion.

Again, Kaduna NUJ Chair Bags Leadership Award

Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Kaduna Council, Comrade Asma’u Yawo Halilu has again bagged ‘Leadership Award’.

The Icon of Hope award was in appreciation of her outstanding performances towards uplifting the journalism profession and her contributions to nation building.

The ‘Leadership Award’ came in less than two months after she was honoured with an award as the ‘Most Transformational NUJ Chairman of The Year 2022.

While presenting the award, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the AIACCESS Contractors, Abubakar Ismail Kankara, averred that the patriotic contributions of the NUJ Chairman to the growth and development of the union was the reason for honouring her with the special award.

“It is obvious that the new leadership of the NUJ is doing great, and we are proud of them for the transformational strides towards consolidating on the achievements of the past leaders who had also contributed to the development of the union in their various capacities,” the CEO said.

In her reaction shortly after receiving the award, the NUJ Chairman thanked the organisers of the event of deeming it fit for recognizing the contributions of the NUJ towards nation building.

“No doubt, this award is an energiser that will spur us to do more towards uplifting our union, its members and the nation at large. As leaders, our resolution is to see that our members have a conducive environment to operate and to also ensure their unity” Asma’u emphasised.

Also speaking, the Vice Chairman of the Council, Comrade Daniel Duniya, applauded the organisers for recognising the leadership of the union, adding that the success recorded would not have been made possible without the support of the members.

2023: Christians In North Must Kill Muslim-Muslim Ticket – NOSCEF

*says not killing it would breed a monster that would linger

Chairman of the Northern States Christian Elders Forum (NOSCEF), Engineer Oyinehi Inalegwu Ejoga has warned that to prevent it from becoming a norm in Nigeria, Christians and others from other faith must rise up in unison against the same faith ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2023 general elections.

Engineer Ejoga expressed this, while delivering a keynote address at the NOSCEF.2022 Congress on Saturday November 5, 2022 in Kaduna.

“Christians in the North must kill the one faith ticket.

“Make the single faith ticket unattractive for the future, by killing it now or render yourselves forever an irrelevant commodity in the election equation for the future. A people easily persuaded by personal and selfish gains to the destruction of the Body will be a Judas to the Christendom.

“We enjoin all lovers of Nigeria across faith to reject the single faith ticket to frustrate politics
of exclusion that is mindful of regional balance but insensitive to faith inclusion,” he said.

According to him, unpatriotic politicians will use any formula they can apply to win election, whether it hurts or not and promise to placade as APC is doing after all the pleas. They will discard any formula that makes them loose election in the future.

While highlighting successes of the NOSCEF executive from 2019 to 2022, he said a lot was achieved.

“When we took over, we appreciated that “it was a call to serve God in His vineyard and we “trusted in God’s faithfulness to equip us to serve, totally depending on Him” to help us.

“We came in when the attacks on Christians in the North and insecurity was at its peak and have witnessed further escalation of the deliberate attempt on the part of the Governments to increasingly marginalize Christians in public appointments, economic patronage, Political and social space.

“We committed ourselves to mobilizing Senior Christian Citizens in the North from all spheres of life to become active members at state and national levels.

“We pledged to speak out against injustice, deceit, discrimination, corruption and other ills of the society.

“We said we will seek alternative means of empowering our people economically, socially and politically.

“We pledged to build peace within our people where there are crises.
Our Press Releases on Mai Tangale attracted Government response,” he said.

He explained that NOSCEF also influenced a scholarship for an indigent student from Minna, Niger State

“She got a scholarship to Igbenidion University to read Medicine and scholarship to read same in Benue State University (BENSU),” he added.

On the tragic incidence of Deborah Samuel murder in Sokoto, he said that NOSCEF prompted intervention and subsequent relocation of the family amidst
great uproar.

Still on efforts made at ensuring religious inclusion, the group long before the APC Presidential primaries in 2022, he explained that in December 2021, ahead of the primaries, they warned the party to shelve the idea, following rumours.

On Plateau and Southern Kaduna killings, he said that while the military were commending themselves on successes in the North West, the group caught the world’s attention by pointing out that the change of security architecture from the change in the security chiefs of staff,
did not reflect of national diversity

“The one on grazing reserves, cattle routes and Insecurity sensitized the Nation to reject them in every form.

“The release on unity at Independence, exposed hypocrisy of a government advocating unity
and raising nepotism to its highest height In appointments especially in key areas of security and key ministries.

“We have sustained highlighting the harm, a single faith ticket, will foster on the nation. The press releases have also generated bad blood against us for crying out against injustice and the ills of the society,” he said.

The Chairman praised some few elders for sacrificing to contribute money for running of NOSCEF.

“Ex NOSCEF chairman came to our aid with assistance through us to 17 Northern States with NOSCEF
branches in many states and distributed to vulnerable Christians across local govts, in the spirit of
Christianity Empowerment Programme,” he revealed.

Engineer Ejoga assured that a ground work for youth empowerment has been concluded, with Nasarawa State chosen as pilot scheme to kick start as reported on their platform.

“The promised funding is being awaited to commence the implementation.

“If our heart is in the programme, then we must kick start it with the resources we are able to
mobilize and surely good hearted brethren/NGO’s will key in.

“We must not expect people to come and fund a programme that we ourselves will not put forth
our money to fund,” he said.

He stressed that NOSCEF as an alternative pressure group has made the greatest impact through
sensitizing and enlightening our people and mobilizing them through their press releases

“Making government and the affected know the feelings of Christians taking center stage and endearing a common stand amongst Christians on issues of interest,” he said.

NOSCEF lamented that insecurity in Kaduna has taken its toll on the attendance at the congress, while expressing optimism that by their
next congress, the insecurity would have been overcome.

In a paper presented by Guest Speaker, Professor J.A. Onaolapo, he charged Christians to participate actively in politics to produce leaders that will change the country positively.

Christians were urged to wake up in their responsibility in terms of politics.

He said that, “Church leaders must encourage their members to participate in politics. We must see ourselves as stakeholders in the country.”

In a goodwill message, Chairman of Northern CAN, in his goodwill message, said that challenges of poverty, bad leadership and others can be changed through the ballot.

“How can you tell me that in Kaduna State, Christians are 30 per cent. Just in Kaduna South and Kaduna North we are more than 30 per cent and I want us to go and prove that in the elections,” he said.

Represented by his vice, Very Reverend Father Andrew Dodo, he said, “In 2019, when Makarfi, Namadi and Ashiru lost in their wards we went to ask them why they lost in their wards, they could not answer.

“This time around, I care about who emerges governor of Kaduna State.

“The reason why we are finding ourselves where we are is that we pretend,” he declared.

Representative of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Candidate for Southern Kaduna Senatorial District, Honourable Sunday Marshall Katung, Honourable Edward Marshal in his goodwill message, said that Christians must resist the Muslim-Muslim ticket.

” NOSCEF is not speaking alone for Christians, but all the downtrodden, I commend you for this.

“If we want to excel we must plan. We are frustrated and neglected, following killings and other hardship. I would encourage a collaboration between NOSCEF. Let’s not rush in taking decision. But a Muslim-Muslim ticket is a no go area. A Christian president may not be the solution,” he said.

HealingStreams: Avalanche of miracles at largest healing crusade with Pastor Chris

It was an unprecedented outpouring of healing miracles, blessings and salvation as the much-talked-about largest healing crusade ever in the world began yesterday. It was the Healing Streams Live Healing Services with Pastor Chris.

In the weeks and months leading up to the Live Healing Services with Pastor Chris, there was much anticipation as people from all over the world published the exceptional encounter with the healing hand of God through the Man of God.

Many prayerfully prepared, publicized the event, partnered towards its success and also prepared places for Healing Centers. The impact reports were gracefully shared during the Road to Healing Streams Live Healing Services.

The day’s service commenced with a session of worship led by the distinctive Loveworld Singers, after which the Director of the Healing School, Pastor Deola Phillips welcomed the global audience to the great moment. She said: “Today is the day that we have anticipated, we have prayed about, we have fasted, we have expected and it’s here. I tell you, you will not leave the way you came and your expectation will not be cut short.”

She went on to open the meeting with prayers and shared from a number of scriptures: Jeremiah 29:11 (AMP), 2 Peter 2:1-2 and Luke 10:5. She explained how God’s desire is for everyone to dwell in peace and how the healing streams will surely flow peaceful waters all over the world. She defined peace as “perfect wellbeing, all necessarily good; freedom from agitating passions, fear and conflict.”

She also told the audience “peace can be delivered to you with words. And that’s why we’re here in this programme, to bring God’s peace to you; in your house, in your home with words of the spirit.”

She encouraged all to be sensitive and actively partake in every segments; yielding to the leading of the Holy Spirit.
This segment was followed by a stirring session of worship, after which, Pastor Deola was joined on set by a senior minister of the Healing School, Reverend Tom Amenkhienan, as they discussed the testimonies emanating from the last edition of the Healing Streams Live Healing Services held in July.

Reverend Tom defined it as glorious, phenomenal and yet the best as there were miracles all the way. He shared several remarkable testimonies, of those who received healing.
One of such testimonies was from Seraphin, who lives in India, and diagnosed of aplastic anemia. This led to bleeding from her gums, an irregular bleeding which caused her severe pains and fatigue, and eating disorder. With great faith, she participated at the July Live Healing Services, where she received total healing.
Other callers from India and the Philippines, according to Reverend Tom, were as excited as Serephin to share their encounter with the Holy Spirit with the live audience.
Prophesying to the participants, he said “the power of God is going to come to where you are, get ready to testify”
Reverend Ray, another senior Minister of the Healing School, who hosted live calls from participants around the world. In Northern Ireland, the callers were geared up and excited for the Live Healing as miracles had already begun; they recorded the miracle of salvation!
Reverend Ray inspirited participants with these words, “keep your expectations very high, as the Lord will surely fulfill them. Today is your day and the Lord is ready waiting for you, step up into the streams and receive your miracle.”
The next segment facilitated by Evangelist Eddy Owase, also a senior minister of the Healing School, starred astounding testimonies with live testifiers from all over the world either present in the arena or calling in live to share their stories.
Fifteen year old Prisca Mosike was one of the live testifiers. What started as ordinary head and stomach pains, led to a year-and-a-half long rollercoaster of treatments.
The doctors treated her of malaria and typhoid for over a month, but her condition worsened. Eventually, she was diagnosed with systemic lupus erythematosus, the doctors recommended a six month therapy; which she underwent, yet no change. During this period she faced severe effects, such as not being able to urinate or defecate, loss of hair and appetite, fainting at unexpected times and consistent blood loss.
Prisca was confined indoors and commenced a new phase of treatment where she required bi-weekly blood transfusion. When things got worse, the doctors recommended dialysis. At this point her family was at the verge of giving up. They heard of the Healing Streams Live Healing Services, and registered her for this life-changing experience.
This was her final destination. As Prisca was ministered to by Pastor Chris, instantly, things metamorphosed!
The final testifier for the segment was the renowned Duel Orok, a pilot whose ordeal started from an erroneous appendicitis surgery. The young man underwent eight operations and had lost 80% of his intestines which were removed during these surgeries. Duel, became totally incapacitated, unable to move and became dependent on family members for basic things. He was in dire need of a miracle.
Duel’s moment of change came as Pastor Chris ministered to the global audience during the July 2022 Healing Streams Live Healing. The hand of God in the life of a man was the case here as he was immediately able to remove the 14 support tubes connected to his body and walk!
The tales of triumphs from these testifiers are inexhaustible. Evangelist Eddy Owase, charged the global audience to be expectant: “This is your own moment, this is your day, there is no limitation, anywhere you are, you can receive a miracle.”
The power of God cut through borders and boundaries and testimonies were already gushing in, and many more were expectant for their miracle.
The Loveworld Singers, led soul-stirring worship to usher in the Man of God Pastor Chris. The atmosphere was totally charged up by the Holy Spirit, there were awe-inspiring lyrics, holy hands lifted up, and tears rolled down effortlessly in heartfelt worship that was led by Pastor Chris.
Exhortation followed this segment, with Pastor Chris teaching of the greatest revelation of God. He said “The greatest revelation of God that was ever communicated to human beings was in Jesus Christ. That’s why He was called the son of God.”
He said this revelation changed everything that was known of God, as it proved God’s love and care for the human race.
Pastor Chris explained how, when a Christian is born again he receives that same life; that resurrection life. He further reiterated, “not only does Jesus gave us this wonderful eternal life, He also came to live in us through the Holy Spirit. When you receive the Holy Spirit, the Bible says you don’t live by the world standard, your body doesn’t live by blood or all the plumbing inside. It no longer lives by the same life it had when you were born of your parent. When you receive the Holy Spirit, this Holy Spirit makes your mortal body come alive. You live differently; by the spirit not by blood.”
Then the moment came, Pastor Chris began ministering to participants in the studio, those watching on the screen and people everywhere. The Blind regained their sight, stretchers were thrown away, deaf ears popped open; what a continuation of the works of Jesus!
Brandon, in South Africa, was one of the thousands who testified of God’s blessing as a result of the service. He had carried a pain in his left hip for several months, which affected his sleep and movement. His time for change came during the worship session led by the Loveworld Singers. He can now freely move his hip without pain and stands effortlessly.
What a service! Truly, Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever! Divine encounters in many nations and cities as the spirit of God touched all who made themselves available.
